Hello and please forgive this informal introduction.

My name is Jeff Leahy and I am currently doing research into the phenomena of Spectrophilia (Sex with Ghosts, apparitions or reflections). Given the unusual nature of this subject I thought a good starting point would be to contact some of the societies and websites dedicated to paranormal investigation in the UK.

Ideally what I am looking for is to talk directly to anybody who has had experiences with Ghosts of a sexual nature. Obviously this information would be treated in the strictest confidence and I would not be used without the express permission of the person involved.

There are a number of documented cases such as that of Jill Cook from Blackpool in 1994. However I would like to find more recent cases if possible. I’m also interested in a wide range of experiences from good to bad.

If you have any stories or contacts that you feel may be of help on this subject I’d be most grateful and would obviously accredit your society should something come from this research.

I am more than happy to talk about my interest in the subject and confirm I am not a crank but doing serious psychological research into a subject that has had little coverage over the years. I’m also hoping to cover the historical and spiritual nature of the phenomena.
